Flash Movies
Not only have I dedicated this site to the most gracious Marianne Yorgason, but I have also dedicated it to flash movies, most of which were made by me.

When I was just a kid, I was told by people all sorts of things. Most of the stuff I was told was conveyed through sound. The famous Marianne Yorgason once said that "a large portion of the male vocabulary is sound effects." This website is dedicated to proving her theory. Being a male personage myself, I have experienced many deep conversations consisting of only a few different sound effects: wapisch, quaw, puop, and zoobah. I also find that my newborn son is soothed by these type of sound effects. He also enjoys the occasional growls and grunts.
Sound effects are created when a waveform like the one above bounces off of the tympanic membrane of the ear. This bounce causes the hair cells of the cochleah to osscilate, sending a signal to the auditory part of the brain, where it is processed.
To optimize your sound effects, you must remember that you want the sound effect to be processed correctly. This requires years of practice, a cool head and a keen eye. Only people like Nim Chimpsky ever get to the point that they can perform sound effects single handedly.
Not only have I dedicated this site to the most gracious Marianne Yorgason, but I have also dedicated it to flash movies, most of which were made by me.
At one point in life I did own the domain Oldwivestales.org. I hardly ever got traffic, so I shut it down. It was truly a sad day when I said good bye to that domain, but it was for the best. I do have an old wives tales section on this site in case you are one of the two visitors of that masterpiece of a blog. You are welcome to visit it there.
My other failed blog was pointed towards all sorts of cool technical things, covering topics such as Labview programming, Linux distrubutions, and all sorts of fun hardware stuff
